The first public access defibrillator was placed outside the Parish Office ready for community use. Welsh Hearts provided a free training session for local residents who were interested in learing how to do CPR and work the defibrillator. In an emergency when people phone 999 and need a defibrillator and live within 500m of the Parish Office they will be given the access code for the box located on the outside of the building. Once the machine is switched on it clearly talks you through exactly what you need to do.
The Community Council are determined this will not be the only Public Access defibrillator in the area and are keen to hear from any local groups/individuals who are interested in raising funds to provide more defibrillators for the community
